Life in South Africa has been lived somewhat under the shadow of HIV/AIDS for over a decade now. Conservative statistics put us as having 5.5 million people infected with the virus, which is about 16% of the amount of people infected world-wide. As a result of the pandemic we sit with an ever rising number of orphans, currently at about 1.4 million. And so today my blog post is a call to prayer. Won’t you stop for a second and direct some pray towards the following issues:

The rate at which the virus is spreading : Pray that God will intervene here.
The availability of medication : Less than a quarter of those infected in South Africa have adequate access to the right medication.
Child-headed homes : As more and more parents succumb to the virus, more and more children are having to take over headship of households looking after even younger children
Abstinence as a solution : Pray that people we see abstinence amongst the un-married as real solution and not something to be scoffed at.
Faithfulness as a solution : Pray that married couples would be faithful to one another throughout their marriage.
Discrimination : Pray against the terrible discrimination that some face after being diagnosed with the virus.
The orphan crisis : Pray that God would raise up emergency parents, foster parents and even parents willing to adopt.
Pray for our churches : Pray that the redemption they have received in Christ will flow out into acts of love and kindness towards those infected.

Colorado Road Conditions in this season

VIDEO! Deadly Colorado road conditions have caused the state’s Department of Transportation CDOT to implement a new winter driving program. CDOT’s Colorado Road Conditions resulted in multiple deaths this weekend including a 50-year-old on Interstate 76. The woman hit an ice spot on the freeway, rolled off the interstate, and died, marking the 48th person in her region alone to die this year on Colorado roads.

Now CDOT is implementing a new program to battle winter fatalities along their roads. The program offers truckers the ability to have help putting on their chains for a fee along Interstate 70 specifically in mountain areas. Also added are more trucks to tow people off the mountains after breaking down.

China hopes to play role in latin america

Last week, Chinese President Hu Jintao say "China will make "concerted effort" to "establish a comprehensive co-oprative partenership of equality, mutual benefit and common development" with Latin America. The Chinese President ask this statement in Lima before the 16th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation(Apec) summit. China's intrests in Latin America include buying raw materials and foodstuffs, ranging from oil and copper to soya beans.

Apec was the last stop in Hu's journey to the West, a 10-day trip. China shows how much Beijing's relations with the western hemisphere have changed from the "lie-low" strategy of Deng Xiaoping.

This was Hu's first trip to south America since November 2004. Hu visited Brazil and Argentina en routh to an Apec summit in Chile. The first-ever official policy paper on Cina and Latin America was released just before Hu's trip.China intrest in Latin America buying raw materials and food stuffs, ranging from oil and copper to soya beans, who helping to develop latin infrastructure to produce and deliver those products. Latin countries hope to sell raw materials and manufactures to develope their historically unstable economies.

Topless Page on Cambridge University Magazine

London, November 21 : For the first time, a Cambridge University magazine has published a photograph of a topless female undergraduate student. The students, from Homerton College, who was not named, was photographed in a black belt and stockings common Lacy one of the historic city of bridges.

He agreed to provide the latest version of Vivid Magazine, published by a group of students once a term and has a turnover in 5000.It also has a website with a video of the woman sitting in a dressing room and then play football.

Since three photos took place at Clare College bridge that passes over the river Cam and is visited by thousands of tourists each year. It is the first time that a student has appeared topless in a publication of the university, and that has caused an outcry.

A student of King's College, said: "I can not believe he agreed to submit to the magazine. Everybody has been talking about it. I am sure that I truly regret now." Another student, Clare College, who did not want to be named, added: "Many of the students and teachers have seen. It's a very risky thing to do when you're looking at one of the leading universities in the country."

The magazine is circulated to all college dormitories. It has been played before a page three girls, but none has been as explicit. The magazine is composed largely of people who comment on the parts of a political and satirical character. The model is that the anonymous photo in the magazine, has refused to comment on responses to the photo. Vivid of the editors also refused to give a statement. The university's press office was unavailable for comment.
